Spring Work...

every spring things get a little crazy here on the ranch...

there are cows to gather from the range...

calves to brand...

plowing and harrowing...

and of course fertilizing the soil...

the all natural way...

....sigh....you know my boys won't be left out of the work...

....sigh....you know how other boys play in the dirt with their tonka trucks....

well...

hhhmmm...that is not dirt girls...

yes...that came out of our cattle corral...

yes...that is what you think it is...

i don't even want to know how they are loading up their fertilizer trucks...sigh....

Oh my!!! I would have been speechless...kind of like I am now. Poor Kristen! Well, at least they know how to entertain themselves. :-)

Love it and how laid back you are about it. It just makes them more resistant to germs, doesn't it?

I can picture my boys doing the same thing. Sometimes we just have to look away, and let them be boys! You're a trooper!

That is too funny! My sister in-law has 3 boys and it sound like all boys are just the same:) But, my two little farm girls probably would have done the same thing! Hey, at least it's organic!

This so reminds me of my kids when they were little! Nothing was off limits when they were farming like their daddy. Dirt, grease, manure and all! Now my grandson plays with the same trucks and drags the same amount of grime into the house! This Grandma is in kid heaven again!
