Vintage Effect Tutorial...

just a quick note...

found an absolutely fabulous tutorial over to kim's place...

she shows you step by step how to achieve a vintage effect on your photos...

without using an action!?!?

i know this prairie girl *loves* her actions...

but it sure was fun to see what i could do on my own...

Photobucket

hope your week is going well...

i've been taking things slower...

enjoying the last days of summer with my kids...

when did time start slipping by so fast?!?

Hi Kristin,
What a sweet picture! I LOVE how the yellow of the flower just pops out at you... great effect!! Definitely one worth framing!! Thanks for sharing the tutorial site with us.
Just wanted to let you know that I posted about some of the pieces I ordered from your shop today. I know you said you wanted to see what I did with them. I'm still LOVIN' them all, btw!!
Enjoy your time with your kids.

OMG! Love it. I aspire to be a photographer like you. It looks like your little one still has short hair, did you hide the scissors? I think they start school way to early (most days).
Hugs.

Hi Kristin~ I finally got PSE this week and this action business is causing me to pull out my hair. I'm finally starting to feel a little settled with the whole thing.

for some reason I thought you were going to the barn house sale so I kept asking everyone if they had seen you (like tiffany) isn't that funny? it was so much fun! I'm sorry you missed it. I know you would've loved to come!
