Industrial Farm Vignettes...

one thing i've fallen in love with while decorating is tucking industrial farm pieces in among my more delicate, softer pieces...

oil cans mixed in with my white ironstone and copper pieces...

a touch of baby's breath softens a vintage sap bucket, galvanized gas can and a rescued license plate..

these amazing sap buckets came from my favorite online store...

another farm vignette atop my fridge...

and a piece that speaks for itself and needs no embellishment on my part...

these farm pumps are always fun to find...

i would keep each and every one if i could...

the husband thinks two is enough...

sigh...

i've got to stop listening to that man!! :0)

hope your weekend went well...

we had more rain, i never knew our little prairie could be so green...

*loving* it and while i'm usually the first to long for the crisp autumn days i simply can't find the desire for summer to pass...

I don't know, I'm usually suspicious of anyone whose refrigerator is that clean on top.

But I do wish I had one of those pumps to hook up outside my house near the garden! Fun!!

Love your stuff.

Hey there Kristen and I love the photos.
I think playing delicate off against sturdy makes both seem more of themselves , if that makes any sense, :)
Have a great Monday

Awe, Kristin... I just want to come see your house! Lovely pictures... I saw a darling necklace around a friends neck the other day (an old key) and lo and behold (no surpise here), she got it at your store... Okay, one day I WILL get to your store when you're there! I'm not so good at timing! :o)

Oooh, I just love how you pair rustic and pretty so well together. I am longing for summer to hang on, too. The days have been so wonderful.

No! Two is just a pair, but three are a collection.

Tell him that and see if it works.
