Quiet Moment...

Photobucket

sorry girls...

i know it's been awhile...

i know i promised some good ole cowboy wrangler wearing goodness...

but guess what...

this prairie girl forgot her camera...

yep...

between that and being stuck in wal-mart parking lot for two hours in the middle of the night about 5 hours away from the comfort of my bed on our colorado trip has left me not really wanting to talk about it...

not enjoyable...

so...

sorry...

i will make it up to you...*promise*...

but right now this prairie girl is busy trying to get her brick and mortar store open...

trying to help with some of the ranch work...

trying to wrangle some wild prairie children...

trying to remember to breath...

i will be back soon...

*promise*

So glad to hear that things are "normal"...take care & talk to you soon as I need to get back to the "norm" which is fixing fence so the blankety blank goats will stay in....I could have sworn that I said we would have no more animals until somebody helps me!!!!
Enjoy your weekend!

Hi Kristin,
Sorry to hear about being stranded! Hope you get all rested up & things back on kilter. (is that a word??) I think the best part of blogging is everyone is so understanding & wonderful! Take a breather & relax! :)

Typo in the title (in case you care).

Sorry you had a rough time. We'll be here when you have a chance to breathe. Happy Thursday!

Oh dear....The only thing worse than being stuck in the Walmart parking lot would be to be stuck inside the Walmart for five hours! Tee Hee.

I'm glad you made it out alive!

Oh Kristin,
I'm so sorry your trip wasn't what you expected! And I know how it is trying to wrangle in those children! I have two of my own that need a bit of wrangling and they don't have a prairie, they have a small backyard. They are wild lately!! Oh well, spring break is over next week. Take care and I hope things calm down for you!
Talk to you soon.
Sincerely,
Melinda

Sorry that the trip wasn't as delightful as planned.
Life happens that way sometimes, doesn't it.
Lifting you up in prayer as you get "things" under control.

I have a few photos I have taken with a fence in the front of it and have been trying to think of a way to make it look. This photo was done perfectly. Would you mind sharing how you did it? I can tell you have some textures and overlays, and possibly used a Gaussian blur? How did you achieve the softness in the photo? Its awesome! Did you use an action on it?

I absolutely hate that too, Kristen. And it seems every time I toss something out then I find a use for it, and it's too late. :-( Thanks for your sweet comment.

Hope you are re-charging your batteries and getting some rest. Love the photo. Talk to you soon!
