prairie meets france...

i think i have lost count on how many times i've rearranged the kitchen, and the dining/living room...

today i think i've finally gotten it right...

well for now... :0)

at least until the shag, brown, 60 year old carpet can be replaced...ugh...

here are a few glimpses of the dining area for you...

the photos also hold a little glimpse of the {mood} of my booth for barnhouse...

i have *swooned* over the french bistro chairs on maria's site dreamy whites for oh, so long now...

and when i talked about {meant to be} here with the green lady...

these chairs where meant to be here on the prairie with their white and green chippy goodness...

*thank you* dear maria for the gorgeous french finds that where {meant to be}...

and for the wonderful, extra goodies tucked inside...

everything is much *loved*...

I have drooled over Maria's white bistro chairs too. They go perfectly with your table. I wish I could rip out our carpet too...someday. I use Maria's lavender sachets in my dryer and our laundry has never smelled better! Beautiful. ox

Love it all! But, I think I'm meant to have the windmill. Believe it or not, I have been wanting one to put in my little place. My plan for it...turn it in to a 'picture frame'. I will make some cute little magnets, and use those to put the pictures to some of the blades. Now, I just need to find one! :)
And I think I need to go check out Maria's site.
Thanks for sharing! Have a fabulous weekend! :)

Oh my god. We live in a 100+ year old farmhouse that has the exact carpet. I've always been convinced that it was/is older than the hills and is worn down shag as well. In fact, when we first looked at the house(we're just renting), the carpet was a big deterrent but the house had enough charm to make me change my mind. : )

your kitchen is just gorgeous. I love it that you have the most stunning house ever, but point out your brown shag. I have the same carpet, Lady, and it makes me realize you can have an amazing house with it. I wish I had your talent for putting things together.
