Sounds wonderful! I'll be there with bells on. We are only just going into winter now :( xx
How wonderful that porch/barn party would be....love, the first photo!!
I'm in! Those pics are so dreamy!! I am ready for Summer!!
If Summer ever comes to Idaho... I will celebrate with family and friends in the backyard under the maple tree. I need some really good comfort food around here. The cook book looks like fun. Thank you for such a wonderful blog.
love the pics! the book looks so fun!
That looks like a great book. We do a lot of entertaining during the summer, so there might be some great ideas in there. Maybe I will win. Florence
So what time is the party...I have to catch my flight. Please give me plenty of time to pack and get my tickets. :)
Our porch parties consist of grilled something and some type of salad and lots of iced tea...by the pool. Before you think that sounds grand...remember that everything is bigger in Texas...yeah. that would include the flies and mosquitoes!
Holy cow. You had me at that picture! Love the whole scene. Makes me excited about the sunshine!
oh goodness...this has me sooo excited for summer...so excited!!
i would love to sit on that porch and chat the day away with ya! and the dinner sounds delish.
so i'm thinkin even if i don't win the book i just may have to pick one up!
CAN I COME? I've got some COOL RED cowboy boots that would look good with your theme! :-) YOur table looks DELIGHTFUL. DOUBLE DELIGHTFUL EVEN! We skipped spring here in MD, went to summer for about a week with 90 degree days and now we can't get out of the 60's and the rain! URGH! Although, our grass is gorgeous! (looking at the brightside always!)
You're so cute! Is it ok to tell you I'm going to Italy?!! Just kidding, that's my next dream trip and it'll take a few years to manage that one! I wish you were coming to Farm Chicks :) I would so love to meet you! I will just have to settle for pretending we are sipping some drinks on the porch together!! Lovely giveaway!
Hugs ~

Love the table setup on the porch. Ready for summer, southern Ohio hasn't seen the sun since last Friday. I'm ready for picnics, porch parties and sun.
WOWSA!!!
I just stumbled on your blog through the 'Humble Pie' blog and think I may have found a new obsession. Only problem is I am not getting any work done this morning as I'm pouring over all your stuff. I LOVE IT!!
From one Prairie Girl to another, thanks, THANKS for the inspiration. I am new to all this blogging stuff and am always amazed at what I come across.
There is nothing better than an outdoor party...in the loft of an old barn, on a porch, wherever, you can have a bowl of peanuts and throw the shells on the ground. Too fun!
Thanks for creating & sharing...
Blessings!
Great giveaway, I can't wait until summer just to spend the days outside!
Oh what a delightful porch! Well...I'm in 2 weddings for some of my dearest friends. And hopefully come August the husband and I will get to Montana to go on a pack trip with my uncle in Bob Marshall and up to the Chinese Wall
I love my porch but it's not big enough for a party. darn. So, I'll just party in the back yard! I'm sure I could use a book like that because I'm a party queen wanna-be... I'm sure you'll inspire me; you always do.
We are still waiting for Spring weather. When it arrives I will be spending my days outside with the kids...and dreaming about France. Thanks for the giveaway!
I think I need to plan a trip to you porch!!! I think this Beach Girl would fit right in...swap beach adventures for prarie adventures:)
My family is going on an RV trip from our house (Central Coast of California) all the way up the West Coast to Canada! Two weeks...camping & relaxing. Checking out new beaches, surfing (not me) and meeting some great people! We have never taken this long of a vacation...so we are REALLY looking forward to it!!
We are skipping to summer here too...supposed to be 82 here today!!
Take Care,
Kristin
yeehaw I am on my way over, does it just kill you that i don't eat meat...red meat? I just ruined the party huh? BUT, I will have two drinks, or three to make up for my lack of meat eating! Let;s see Farm Chicks and lots and lots of swimming and bbq's...I am doing it this year, I am I am!
Sounds delicous! Are you taking reservations?
I host a Supper Club at my place every week. This is making me want to step it up a couple times a month, and have fun with decorating. Just too bad I don't have a porch to party on. Maybe someday....hopefully.
The weather here has been amazing lately so all our meals have been on our back porch :-) Our son turns 21 in July and a big porch party is planned. Thanks for the giveaway Kristin "Porch Parties" looks like a wonderful read!
How inspiring for our own summer parties...I am going to dream up my own variation now. Thank you for sharing Kirstin.
Looks like a fab cookbook to add to my collection:) Love that table setting. Saw a vessel like that one at Pottery Barn may just have to go get it;)
I love that photo! Right now our porch is junked up with baseball bats, balls, cleats, and a hoosier table my neighbor was throwing away! I need inspiration :)
Hi! Love the pic and finally getting a chance to connect back on my blogs. The book looks good...share some of the ideas :)
