Meant to Be...

hello monday...

which is about over by the time i've sat down to this computer...

i tell you swim time takes a chunk out of our days...

but it sure makes for happy kids!

i just had to share a couple finds with you...

you know when you see something and know it was totally meant to be...

well...

i know!! isn't she a beauty!?!?

i found her in a little shop in boulder city...it was amazing i came home with anything from there...the husbands calf check almost didn't even cover an ice cream cone!! LOL!!

those girls know their junk and are not afraid to put a triple price tag on it! :0)

i guess they weren't to impressed with lady here...a whole whopping $20.00...NO way was i leaving Nevada without her...

then my dear mom, who was trying to save this next find until christmas but just couldn't...

gave me this...

the squeals were flying freely that day and my heart still soars with *love* for my new metal street sign...

*LOVE* it dearly!! *thank you* mom!! xoxo

oh how the discovery of meant to be treasures brings this prairie/gelbvieh girl much, much joy...

what about you dear readers, any new amazing finds that make your heart soar?!?

your finds are wonderful - and so perfect for you!
I found a big bunch of old artist paintbrushes over the weekend...some I'll use as brushes but others will be photographic fodder! see them over at my blog...

I'm sorry to tell you, but your shorthorn beauty is asking to be sent to my place. :) She feels out of place among all the Gelbvieh ladies.
{Sorry, I had to.}
But seriously, those signs are fabulous! Unfortunately, I doubt I will ever find a sign with my last name on it. :(
My fun find this weekend.....going to a small town's 'Good Egg Days', and finding a gal that sells Watkins! I have been wanting to find a dealer for some things, and finally got it. Yeehaw!

I love your cow!!! She is gorgeous and I would have brought her home, for sure.

If you have a minute, you can see my bull painting that I just posted on a few minutes ago. I named him Herley. :)

What a wonderful and gift. That old sap bucket is quite scrumptious, too. It sounds as though you're having a joyous summer so far.
