{Inspiration} Distressed Jewell

today i would like to share an *incredible* artist with you...

i'm not sure i can even describe to you how in awe i am of her and her photography...

jewell is creator and owner of distressed textures; not only did the beauty of her textures capture me but her simple statement, " i have a thing for cows. it is common for me to stop on the side of the road, watch them, and converse with them."

do i need to explain or say anymore?...

my words cannot do justice to the beauty of this woman's soul or to the incredible depth of which her work inspires...

i will let you be transported along another time with just these few glimpses...

i have spent countless hours lost within her creations...*thank you* jewell for sharing your gifts, beauty, and raw talent....

i hope today, dear readers, you have been able to find a place of stillness and beauty somewhere within the midst of the noise and uncertain...

My heart skipped a beat immediately upon seeing these images! What beautiful, absolutely magical pieces of art!
By the way...I too converse with cows ~ have always talked with them - something I have done since growing up on my grandparents farm. :-)
Thank you so much for introducing her ~ Have a wonderful evening Kristin! Rebecca

Wow I love the texture, it makes the picture seem like a lovely painting! Of course I am partial to old, abandoned buildings so the photos caught my heart immediately. Just beautiful Jewell! Thanks for sharing Kristin.

OH my! I absolutely love these! Thanks for sharing! Now, because I'm so slow when it comes to computer stuff---is there a way I can contact her and buy prints of this stuff? I would also love it if you had any other ideas...paintings or whatever...that I could buy prints of. I love the look of anything sort of old fashioned 'farm.' If this makes sense....:) I just don't know how to navigate this world wide web!

There is a moment in time that pauses, stops and goes backwards, a frozen reflection captured in celluloid.

Buildings from times past are among my favorite subjects and she has done great work with them.

Tell her great work.
