Filling the Senses...

today was a day spent snuggled up by the heater...

listening to the soft raindrops upon our farmhouse...

baking pumpkin spice cookies...

a pot of french onion soup simmering on the stove...

a day filling the senses with a prairie autumn...

*~*cow naming winner will be announced soon...we have it narrowed down to 10!*~*
you girls pulled out all the stops with your romantic, prairie names...i'm actually thinking i need to have another little girl just so i could use one or two of the names!!

I wish I could stop by for coffee and a cookie. Your place sounds very relaxing. I made apple sauce today with my kids at school. The smell went all down the hall. Everyone wanted some.

So, are you going to share the recipe? Pumpkin spice cookies are something I have never made before. :)

And my niece and nephews got plenty of hugs!

You just have to love Fall :) Baking cookies in the 90 degree summer heat just isn't the same as baking on a cool Fall morning.

A few more things you forgot to mention, that you did yesterday...
You were caring, giving, and kind.
You lifted another's spirits.
You listened.
You were a great example.
You were an amazing friend.
You gave gifts that will be treasured forever.
...these are things that will never be forgotten.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

What a perfect day for you, Kristin. I've got a pot of homemade chicken soup in the crock pot right now. No cookies here, however. NOT on the diet I've just begun... Ugh! :( Can hardly wait to hear what name you decided on! lol!
