Meet Minnie....

Minnie arrived on my doorstep this week....I'm so glad she finally arrived and decided to live at my house....I searched and searched for her far and wide....her kind are quite in demand right now. She will be staying in my house giving me inspiration on some aprons and also some jewelry.....next season she will call my shop home where she will welcome visitors and wear some of my creations.....not sure right now if she will wear a price tag or not....she was so hard to convince that my home was where she needed to be!

While I anxiously awaited her arrival the kids and I enjoyed our last days of summer doing this...
And a little of this....

Our dandelion wishes didn't take flight quick enough so we decided that if we hit the cat with the dandelion they disappear faster and we can move on to another dandelion and more wishes and more cat chasing!!

I hope you enjoyed your last days of summer....I'm usually the first one to say goodbye to summer and welcome fall whole heartedly....this year is a little different; I look how my kids have grown and changed and long for this summer to never end....we can never go back to this summer full of magic and discovery and living childhood to the fullest....maybe that's a good thing though....not sure how many more times I could take finding worms inside pants pockets....
