while reverse applique and wool felting just wasn't my thing...{again no judging please!!} ;0)

the junk journal and mixed media classes made me *smile*...i could have spent the entire two days in those classes!

a 6 x 12 signed Prairie Girl Art created by yours truly during Christy Tomlinson's class...

a dainty and petite SPARK necklace to help remind you of the small spark of creativity and all the possibilities...

{this necklace was created by the *uber* talented canela of cinnamon sticks designs}

i was SO lucky to have chosen a table near hers in the artisan market and we became fast friends!! the end of the post brings a little something else from dear canela!! :0)

a 24 piece paper pack from pink paislee and the house of three...

{daily junque} was designed by the *fabulous* rhonna farrer who rocked the Luella dress at SPARK...

a set of 5 vintage inspired rub-ons and one pennant stamp from jenni bowlin...

as well as a set of {daily junque} stamps and 3 jenni bowlin ink pads...

still with me??...we are NOT finished yet!! :0)

canela, who is unbelievably sweet and unbelievably talented is also offering a capture life hand stamped sterling silver and gem stone necklace as well as 10% off any order from her two shops

Holy buckets, Prairie Girl! This giveaway is awesome! You can go ahead and close it now, and send everything to me. :)
On a side note...can you be bribed or hired to make me a farmgirl {with cowgirl boots!} piece of art?
Oh, I wish I could attend one of these things. I have an idea...you need to make your way to Iowa and host a class. I'll line up people to attend. Yup. That would be fun. :)

Fabulous giveaway!! I try to keep my creative spark going by making sure to get in my studio at least a few nights a week, even if just for a few minutes. It's harder for me to do this when dusk arrives sooner in the winter but I do try. Thanks for the chance!

xo,

Abby

That's ok!
That's a very hard question. It's like a roller coaster. Highs and lows! But, I think the seasons help!
Thanks for such a great Giveaway. FYI: Mine is on WHERE WOMEN CREATE the BLOG. Check it out when you get a chance.

What a pile of lovelies! My spark of creativity involves photography, and I keep it alive by keeping my camera turned on. That might sound cheesy, but I've learned that there is nothing too insignificant to capture, and some of the most beautiful images are the ones I don't see until my eye is behind the lens.

What a fabulous giveaway! You've got my creativity sparked just looking at all the pretty goodies.

I like to keep myself in a creative groove but making sure that I plan or work on a project for at least a little bit each day. Most weeks I have two days a week that I can set aside large chunks of time to work on things but the remainder of the week a simple list or sketch is all I can manage.

What a fabulous giveaway!!! *crossing my fingers and toes* I'd love to win this one.

I have never had to search for inspiration, it's always readily available. It's a matter of not just looking at everything around me, but really seeing it. Seeing the magic of it. The beauty. Opening all of my senses to something and breathing it in to my heart. In doing so, something simple and everyday like a cup of coffee isn't just a cup of coffee. It's part of my grandfather's smell when I hug him. It's the smell of my grandparents' house which holds so much love, the good memories provide their own warmth. Breathing the aroma deep into my lungs and taking the first sip of the hot, bitter liquid, it's not just drinking coffee, it's drinking in all the memories I associate with coffee. And when you start doing that with everything, inspiration becomes such a part of who you are, you realize you don't even have to search for it anymore.

Those are my thoughts anyway...

Sorry for the novel, but had to share. :)

Wow! Yes please, just send it all here! My creative spark gets going when I just get in my studio and play. I turn on the tunes and after staring at the pieces for a while, I usually get going and then things flow. And if that doesn't work, a glass of wine (or two) does the trick! LOL!

I found your giveaway through OC Cottage, Kristin. What a generous and wonderful giveaway! I'd love to enter for a chance. My problem is quieting my creative spark. There is so much I want to do and get started on. We just moved from NY to Ohio so my little craft room is low man on the totem pole. I'm hoping to get in there this weekend to at least start to unpack my bins and come up with organization ideas.

I keep my creative spark alight by... creating! I see stories in objects...faces in gnarled branches, history in used tools, and always, wonder what an object would look like with a new color, surface, or use!

My favorite way to keep my creativity sparked up is to hang out with my little nephew. We play, draw, paint, glue, build, sing, dance, spin around like crazy monkeys...he's a blast of pure laughing energy and he challenges my creativity in a really wonderfully positive way. :)

I need a little creative spark lately as we have been so busy that creativity has been on back burner. I did pick up a crochet hook and started making a few cute little hats for babies on the way!
